About Me

Hello, I'm Ruka! I've just moved in Petts Wood this February from Japan and living with my boyfriend and his lovely parents.

I used to be dental hygienist in Japan and now I'm planning to be trainee dental nurse for part time job soon.
So I'd love to look after children for my free time.

I'm Japanese and hygienist so I'm tidy, reliable and good at organizing! Especially cooking is my hobby and I enjoyed feeding children various types of food and cuisines.

I'm also an animal-lover!!!If you let me look after your lovely pet too, it'd be my joy.

The basic DBS check document will be given soon, however, if required, I can provide DBS Update Service available and reference letters from my previous dental clinic and au pair placements in advance.

My Experience

I've been au pair for 3 children (6mo, 3yo and 7yo) for 3 years in Reading and they are like my siblings now. This lovely time is one of the best memories in my life. (Even not always lovely lol)They moved to Scotland but we reunited a few weeks ago and still keeping in touch.
I was also after school nanny for some in London.

Their parents were too busy to do house chores so I volunteered to help them.
So please ask me anything like cooking, washing dishes, hoover and the laundry.

Additionaly one of the children is autistic. He was so cute but difficult to stay with sometimes. I'm not qualified but understand how frustrating and challenging for the children and their parents too. I'd love to help such a family if you worry.

My Qualifications

I don't have qualifications for nanny but hygienist one in Japan. I may not have formal training, but I look after children with dedication and care.

My Availability

Basically I'm available from Monday to Wednesday. But open to discussing work in the evening and on Sunday.

£15 per hour and I would appreciate it if travel expenses were covered.
