About Me
Hi, I’m a 24-year-old mum to my little boy Alessio, who has just turned 1. I’ve been a stay-at-home mum since he was born, so this will be the first time I’ve ever left him in someone else’s care, which I’ll admit I feel quite nervous about.
My partner works from home most of the time, but he does occasionally have to travel for work, so there are times when I’ll need a bit of extra support in between as well. We also don’t have any family living nearby, so I don’t have that extra help close to home, which is another reason I’m now looking for some support.
This is a big step for both of us, so I’m really hoping to find someone patient, caring, and experienced who understands how important this transition is. I’d love for Alessio to begin socialising with other children and building his confidence, while still feeling safe, supported, and well cared for.
My Requirements
I am looking for a kind and trustworthy childminder for 1–2 mornings a week. My preference is for a smaller, home-from-home setting rather than a large nursery, as I feel more comfortable with Alessio being in a smaller group where he can receive more individual attention.
Alessio is still breastfed, so initially I’m only looking for short sessions of around 2–3 hours, with the possibility of increasing slightly over time if he settles well.
We are based in Knowsley, so ideally I am looking for someone local or within a short travelling distance.
My main priority is finding a nurturing and attentive environment where Alessio will be well looked after while also having the opportunity to interact with other children.
