My Experience

Over the past four years, I have gained extensive childcare experience working at a summer camp with children aged 7 to 16, while progressively taking on greater responsibility. I began as a lifeguard, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of campers during water-based activities, before advancing to a unit leader role where I was responsible for overseeing a smaller group of children, supporting their daily needs, and fostering a positive group environment. I was then promoted to division leader, where I managed a much larger group—being in charge of approximately 60 children and 30 staff members. In this role, I was responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and closely monitoring the health, safety, and overall wellbeing of everyone in my care. These experiences have strengthened my leadership, communication, and organisational skills, while creating a safe, supportive environment for children to thrive.

My Qualifications

I am DBS checked, first aid trained and have been certified by American red cross water safety.
