Full Time Nanny Job in Guildford
About Me
We have a ten-month-old daughter who will be almost one when the role starts. She is a thoughtful, curious and affectionate baby who forms strong bonds with her caregivers. She enjoys music, being outdoors, and looking at books.
We are a professional couple who both work in London, but have recently relocated to a small Surrey village between Guildford and Woking, selected for its balance of countryside living with excellent connectivity. The house is within walking distance of the station, with direct trains reaching London Waterloo in approximately 30 minutes.
The area offers excellent horse riding, beautiful walking routes and easy access to nearby towns.
This role would suit someone who enjoys country living and green space, but also values quick access to London.
My Requirements
Daily or Residential Nanny, sole charge.
Start date 10th August 2026.
Working hours: Monday: 8:00am–6:00pm, Tuesday–Thursday: 7:00am–7:00pm, Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm. It is essential that the candidate can do the hours listed in the advert.
We are welcoming and respectful, and place real value on our nanny’s professional expertise regarding our child’s development and routines. We are looking for someone warm, organised and proactive, who will take an evidence based approach to planning engaging, stimulating days with a toddler. These will include taking her to classes and playdates, leading developmental play, reading, art, cooking together, and spending plenty of time outside enjoying the countryside where we live.
Usual nursery duties apply, including all child-related cooking, cleaning, laundry and organisation.
