About Me
I’m 35 and expecting my first child later on this year.
I have been living in Kidderminster with my partner for the past few years, although I’m originally from Redditch. I currently work for the NHS at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, where I do night shifts.
Outside of work, I like to keep active and make the most of my time off. I enjoy getting out for walks, especially with my cockapoo, Max, who definitely keeps me on my toes. Whether it’s a long walk or just getting some fresh air, I like staying busy and making the most of each day.
Family and friends are very important to me.
My Requirements
I’m currently looking for a childminder who has availability for 1–2 full days per week.
I work night shifts for the NHS, so I’m ideally looking for childcare during the daytime following my shifts. At the moment, I’ve requested to work Monday and Tuesday nights, so I would likely need help on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the day to allow me to get some rest.
I don’t yet have confirmation of my exact working pattern, so there may need to be some flexibility around the specific days.
After a night shift, I usually reach home just before 8am.
It would be either myself or my partner dropping off and ideally this would need to be between the hours of 07.30/8am.
I appreciate I am looking in to child care very far in advance, but I am told some child care providers in the area are already booked or taking bookings for next year. I am also keen to see what's available as I was set on finding a nursery, however upon researching local nursery's, I feel a childminder will work better for our family and my working hours.
I am planning to return to work from August 27' onwards with the hope of 9 month funding starting from September.
