I provide a warm, nurturing, and vibrant home-from-home childminding setting. We own an open-plan terraced house; our space is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, encourage independent exploration, and provide a secure environment where your child can thrive.

• The Creative & Discovery Area: Flooded with natural light from large windows, this zone features low-level shelving stocked with open-ended resources, wooden toys, loose parts, and sensory materials that invite hands-on exploration.
• The Cosy Reading Nook: A dedicated, plush corner filled with soft cushions, rugs, and an accessible library of age-appropriate books. This is our go-to spot for group storytelling, quiet reflection, and winding down.
• The Messy Play & Dining Space: Equipped with child-sized table and chairs, this area hosts our daily arts, crafts, and baking activities, as well as nutritious, family-style meals that encourage social interaction and independence.
Indoor-Outdoor Flow: One of the unique highlights of the setting is the direct, level access from the open-plan living area into our fully enclosed, secure garden. Large glass doors bridge the gap between inside and out, allowing children to safely extend their play into the fresh air.
Outdoor Nature & Play Garden: Designed with the curious explorer in mind, our garden maximises its terraced layout to offer a wide variety of physical and sensory outdoor experiences.
• The Mud Kitchen & Sensory Zone: A favourite among the children, where they can mix, pour, and experiment with natural elements like soil, water, leaves, and stones.
• Active Play Area: This space includes low-level climbing equipment, a tent with an attached tunnel and ride-on toys to help develop gross motor skills and physical confidence.
• The Secret Grow Garden: A dedicated patch where we plant seasonal vegetables, sunflowers, and herbs, teaching the children about nature, life cycles, and where their food comes from.
• Rest, Comfort, and Routine: While the open-plan design promotes high-energy interaction, I understand the vital importance of rest. When it is time to recharge, the main space easily transitions into a calming environment with dimmed lighting, soothing background music, and individual, cosy sleep mats or cots, ensuring your child gets the peaceful rest they need to fuel their next big discovery.
