My Experience

I am a professional and passionate childminder, dedicated to providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where children feel secure, supported, and confident to grow and develop.

I have experience caring for children from 9 months to 13 years through my previous volunteering at my local church. During this time, I supported a range of activities including Bible studies, small group leadership, and structured after-church programmes. This experience strengthened my ability to manage different age groups, understand individual developmental needs, and create engaging, age-appropriate activities within a well-organised setting.

I currently attend Kingsgate and value being part of a community that promotes growth, strong values, and continuous learning. This mindset carries into my childminding approach, where I focus on both emotional wellbeing and positive development.

I provide a calm, consistent, and well-managed environment with clear routines and expectations, helping children feel settled and secure. I am reliable, organised, and attentive to each child’s individual needs, ensuring they are supported while also encouraged to build independence and confidence.

I work in partnership with parents to maintain open communication and consistency, so every child benefits from a stable and supportive experience both at home and in my care.

My Qualifications

I hold a qualification in Health and Social Care, am currently studying SEN, and plan to begin my Level 3 childcare qualification this year to continue developing my knowledge and skills in supporting children.

My Availability

Monday-Friday 8am-6pm

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.00 per hour

Hourly Rate Structure

* 0–12 months: £7.00 per hour
* 1–3 years: £6.00 per hour
* 3–5 years: £5.50 per hour

Important Notes

* Charges apply per hour or part thereof unless otherwise agreed in writing.
* Rates apply to all additional hours outside of funded entitlement.
* Funded childcare hours (where applicable) are subject to government eligibility and do not include optional extras or extended hours.
