My Experience

I have hands-on experience caring for children through looking after my four nieces and nephews, which has helped me become confident in managing different ages and personalities. This includes keeping them entertained, helping with meals, and making sure they are safe and well looked after.

I also spent a month assisting in a primary school, where I supported teachers in the classroom and helped supervise children during activities. This gave me valuable insight into working with groups of children, understanding their needs, and maintaining a positive and structured environment.

Through these experiences, I’ve developed strong patience, responsibility, and the ability to build trusting relationships with children.

My Qualifications

I am first aid trained, which allows me to respond calmly and confidently in emergency situations. I also hold a Level 3 NVQ in IT and Business, demonstrating strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Professionally, I worked as a manager in a GP surgery for six years, where I developed a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with care and professionalism. I then spent five years working for the DWP and later for the council, further strengthening my reliability, communication skills, and ability to work with a wide range of people.

These experiences have made me dependable, trustworthy, and well-equipped to provide a safe and supportive environment for children.

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

My fees are competitive and can vary depending on the number of children, hours required, and any additional responsibilities. I am happy to discuss and agree on a fair rate with each family to suit their needs.
