About Me
Hello, I am a qualified and experienced teacher currently working in Reception (Early Years) in the UK. I offer 1:1 private tutoring for children in EYFS and KS1, focusing on phonics, early reading, writing and maths.
My sessions are fun, engaging and practical, helping children build confidence and enjoy learning. I tailor each lesson to your child’s needs, using games, hands-on activities and proven teaching approaches such as Little Wandle phonics and White Rose maths.
I aim to create a calm and supportive environment where every child feels successful and motivated to learn.
My Experience
I am a highly experienced and qualified teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience in Latvia, followed by extensive experience in the UK across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
For the past six years, I have specialised in Reception, developing strong expertise in early years education and school readiness. I have a deep understanding of how young children learn best and how to build strong foundations in phonics, reading, writing and early maths.
I am highly skilled in teaching phonics using structured programmes such as Little Wandle, ELS and Bug Club, and I have a proven track record of supporting children to become confident, fluent readers. I also have significant experience working with children with additional needs (SEN), adapting my approach to ensure every child can succeed.
My teaching is personalised, engaging and results-focused, helping children make clear progress while building confidence and a love for learning.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK and over 8 years of teaching experience internationally. I hold a recognised teaching qualification and have extensive experience delivering the UK curriculum.
I have completed training in early years education and specialise in phonics and early reading. I also have strong knowledge of the White Rose Maths approach used in primary schools.
In addition, I have experience supporting children with additional needs (SEN) and adapting learning to suit individual abilities. I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure I provide high-quality, up-to-date teaching.
My Availability
I offer flexible tutoring sessions during evenings on weekdays, as well as weekends.
Weekdays: Evening sessions (from approximately 4:30pm onwards)
Weekends: Available on both Saturdays and Sundays with flexible daytime hours
I aim to accommodate families’ schedules where possible, so please feel free to get in touch to discuss a convenient time.
My Fees
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
EYFS / KS1: £30–£45 per hour
• SEN : £40–£55
