Registered Childminder Job In Chesterfield

I am a single mother of 1, who is looking for someone who can help out with school drop offs and pick ups starting in September 2026.
I work part time in a specialist school and I have an opportunity to apply for a full time position in my current workplace, but if I’m successful, I would require help with childcare.
My son is 8 (will be 9 when the job starts). He is a sensible boy, who doesn’t struggle with going in to school and although the school is only 5 minutes walk away, he is still too young to cross the busy road by himself and stay home for the longer period of time.
If I’m successful, the job would be starting in September 2026 and be term time only, so I am looking for someone to work term time before and after school.
I would be getting lifts and taking buses to and back from work, so depending on the commute, I would need someone to look after my son for 30-90 minutes before school and drop him off and then pick him up from school and look after him for 30-90 minutes.
It obviously all depends on whether I get the job and what days I could get the lift for, but if I had to take a wild guess, I’d say the hours would be 7:30 the earliest (8:20 if I get a lift) with 8:45 school drop off and then 15:20 pick up and staying with my son till either 4-ish or 5pm.
It’s hard to be very specific right now as it’s all just the start of the process but the vacancy is open right now and the job doesn’t start till September, so I need to plan ahead with the information I have at the moment. I can be more specific once I know if I’m successful in my interview.
My son would be getting ready for the day with me, so it would only be the matter of keeping child safe while I’m at work, but it would definitely be a long term commitment.
My Requirements
I would prefer someone who is registered, however if the person is right, it wouldn’t be a necessity.
Looking for someone to do pick ups and drop offs at New Whitt Primary School long term.
Preferably I’d like someone who would look after my son in our place as it’s already super close to school, but will consider other options if it’s something that would work for all involved.
