Nanny 3 Days A Week (Baby & Light Housekeeping, Flexible Role In London)
About Me
My husband and I, based in London, are looking for a kind, reliable and experienced nanny to care for our baby girl (6 months old at the start of the role) over the summer, with the possibility of an ongoing arrangement from September. We are a friendly, professional family looking for someone who will become a trusted and valued part of our home. I run my own business and work from home so can be flexible on exact days and times, whilst my husband works long hours in the city.
My Requirements
About the role (June - August)
• Three days a week of childcare (approx. 10:00–16:00/17:00)
• Plus around four hours per week of light housekeeping if this is something you do (flexible timing)
• We are open to flexibility on days and hours for the right person
• Please note we will be away for two weeks during this period
From September onwards we would love to continue working together if it’s a good fit. This may include:
• Nursery pick-up three/four days a week
• Around 2 hours of care after nursery
• Occasional ad hoc evening babysitting
• Some housekeeping if this is something you do
What we’re looking for
• Experience caring for babies (under 1 year)
• Warm, calm and attentive approach
• Confidence managing routines, naps and feeding (including weaning)
• Happy to take initiative with age-appropriate play and development
• Reliable, communicative and proactive
• Open to a role that includes some light household support
Duties may include
• Day-to-day care of our baby
• Planning simple, engaging activities
• Supporting feeding and naps
• Keeping baby areas tidy
• Light household tasks such as laundry, tidying and occasional ironing
Practical details
• Competitive hourly rate depending on experience
• Flexibility on exact structure for the right candidate
• Opportunity for a longer-term arrangement from September
