My Requirements
I’m currently expecting a baby in October and am looking for a kind, experienced and reliable nanny to support us during the early months.
The role would be part-time, approximately 3 weekdays per week, from around 10am–3pm, for a period of about 6 months (until nursery placement). We are based in Nailsea.
I’m self-employed, so I’ll be returning to work relatively soon after the baby arrives. Because of this, I’m looking for someone confident with newborns who can provide attentive, calm and nurturing care during the day.
Ideally, you would have:
• Strong experience caring for newborns
• Relevant childcare qualifications
• A warm, trustworthy and proactive nature
• Up-to-date DBS and first aid training
Typical duties would include:
• General newborn care (bottle feeding, changing, settling, naps)
• Supporting a gentle routine
• Light baby-related tasks (e.g. bottles, tidying baby areas etc)
We’re a friendly and relaxed household and are looking for someone who feels like a natural fit for our family during this special (and slightly sleep-deprived!) time.
I know this is a little early, but I’d love to connect with potential candidates in advance and arrange a chat to meet.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please do get in touch - I’d love to hear from you.
