About Me

I’ve been working as Bank Staff within the Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust across various units, gaining valuable skills, knowledge, and experience across all wards. This has strengthened my ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care and adapt to a wide range of clinical settings.

While working across different wards, I’ve collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to support effective communication, care planning, and recovery-focused approaches for patients. I put a strong emphasis on safeguarding and upholding the Trust’s values of respect, compassion, and commitment to quality care, striving to create a safe, therapeutic environment that promotes recovery and well-being.

In my roles with various Trusts, I’ve supported service users with diverse needs, including personal care, mobility assistance, nutrition, and emotional well-being. I’ve worked alongside nurses, doctors, and therapists to deliver holistic, high-quality care.

In mental health crisis work, I’ve developed strong skills in assessing risk, supporting individuals in distress, and working closely with police, paramedics, the crisis team, and community organisations. This includes supporting individuals in acute crisis, such as those detained under Section 136, carrying out observations like NEWS assessments and vital signs monitoring, and escalating concerns promptly. I’m committed to ensuring individuals receive compassionate, dignified care while helping reduce pressure on emergency services. With my crisis management expertise, high-risk environment experience, and person-centred approach, I’m confident in my ability to make a positive impact.
