My Experience

I obtained a Degree in Social Work in 2018 and have over 10 years experience of working with children (ages 0-18 years) and their families. I have specialised in working to support children’s emotional health and wellbeing and supporting their care givers to offer a more therapeutic and connective style of parenting. Supporting children to understand and manage their emotions is a crucial part in their overall learning and development and is something that will set foundations for life. I have worked in Early Years Settings, including private nurseries and mainstream schools. Throughout my career I have worked with families from diverse backgrounds and pride myself in being understanding and accepting of other’s lived experiences and offering a trauma informed approach.  Working with children has always been a passion of mine and throughout 2022/2023, I ran my own messy stay and play group sessions which I loved! Sensory and messy play has been a keen interest of mine since having my own son and this is something I incorporate in my home from home childminding setting. 

My Qualifications

I have a BA Degree in Social work.
I have level 1 British Sign Language.
I have Peadiactric First Aid.
I have Designated Safeguarding Lead Training.
I have GCSE's in Maths, English, Science, History, Health and Social Care and more.
I am food hygiene trained.
I do have other training and qualifications which can be provided.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

I charge £52.25 per day (£5.50 per hour), which includes breakfast and snacks. I am open from 8am to 5.30pm. I know parents often work different times and therefore I am flexible in my approach and I'm happy to discuss alternative times / hours where needed.
