My Requirements

We are looking for a wonderful full-time Nanny / Family Assistant to join our family in Golders Green, NW11.

We have two children: a happy, curious one-year-old girl and a bright, funny and affectionate eight-year-old boy. This is mainly a shared-care role, with some sole-charge periods when needed.

Our daughter loves books, animals, music and sensory play. We would love someone creative and playful who genuinely enjoys the toddler years and can independently plan lovely activities and sensory play. Strong toddler experience is important and knowledge of EYFS would be a bonus.

Our son loves Minecraft and chess and is autistic. We would love someone calm, patient and playful who will take the time to understand him and build a genuine friendship with him. SEN experience would be a bonus, but personality and willingness to connect with him matter much more.

This is a varied Nanny / Family Assistant role, so alongside childcare we are looking for someone flexible and happy to help with general housekeeping and family cooking. We work together as a team depending on what is needed that day.

We are a foodie family and would especially love someone who genuinely enjoys cooking and can prepare fresh, delicious and varied meals and snacks.

Personality matters enormously to us. We are looking for someone warm, affectionate, kind, reliable and down-to-earth; someone who genuinely loves being with children, enjoys playing, is easy to have around the home and naturally gets stuck in.

The role is Monday to Friday, approximately 45 hours per week, usually around 10/11am–7pm, with some flexibility. We are based in Golders Green and also regularly spend time at the children’s grandmother’s home in Gants Hill, around a 10-minute walk from the station.

Most importantly, we hope to find someone special who is looking for a permanent, long-term position and would love to become part of family life and watch our children grow up.
