About Me

We are a family of three living in York (Acomb). My name is Mery Carter, my husband is Sam Carter, and we are expecting our baby girl, Lyra Chasca Carter, in the next few days.

We are looking for a childminder in the Acomb, York area to care for our baby.
Ideally, we need:
Availability Monday through Friday
Approximate hours: 8:00 am to 2:00 pm
Coverage for 50–51 weeks per year

I am planning to return to part-time work when Lyra turns 9 months old in January 2027, so we are looking for reliable, consistent, and high-quality care. We would like someone with experience caring for infants who can provide a safe, stimulating, and loving environment.
We also value good communication with parents and updates on our daughter's well-being and development.
