Part Time Nanny Job in London
About Me
We are a family of three - myself, husband and son who will be 1 years old in June. We are an outdoorsy, active family, we enjoy running and hiking (not much of that around London though).
Our son is very curious and active, smashing all his physical milestones, loves to climb, cruise, crawl. I get the impression he's a little bit cheeky and will always find the things he shouldn't be playing with and laughs when he knows he’s up to no good. He is generally a very happy and smiley baby. He takes a little bit to warm up at first which is funny because he is so outgoing from a distance (supermarkets, buses he's waving and smiling at everyone). We try to keep the end of day routine calm as possible, he's easily overstimulated (think that comes with being so alert) so we keep afternoons calm, no screens or loud toys etc.
My husband and I tend to work late hours midweek so we are looking for some extra support to help with after nursery. He is starting nursery at 11 months on a few days so we will have had a month of settling in before he goes up to four days.
**Option to make this a 2 full days a week instead, would just need notice to reduce his day at nursery**
My Requirements
Either AFTER NURSERY NANNY or PART-TIME 2 DAYS A WEEK.
We are looking for a nanny that can help out with our 1 year old from the end of June. They'd be expected to do nursery pick up (5 mins from our flat), dinner time, bath time and bedtime. The timings would be around 4:30-7:30pm (can be discussed), allowing time to get set-up at the flat before collecting him from nursery / if he's having a bad nap day could make sense to start dinner and bath time earlier.
Initial requirement is for 2 afternoons a week, there are times where this may increase - if one of us is travelling for work or both out for a night. Days proposed here aren't set in stone so open to discussing what works for the nanny.
Alternative option is 2 full days a week either Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. This would commence from August as need to give the nursery notice to reduce days.
We want someone to work with us for the longterm and build a rapport with our son.
