I would like to describe myself as caring, responsible, and a patient person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I am reliable and organised, and i take pride in creating a safe, fun and positive environment for the children i look after. I am also happy to help with things like homework, preparing simple meals, and keeping routines consistent. I come from a very close and supportive family, i have 3 very younger siblings who i have cared for a lot. I am used to helping out at home and being around younger family members, which has given me experience in being attentive and understanding of children's needs. Overall, i am someone parents can trust to be dependable, calm under pressure and attentive to their child's wellbeing and needs.
My Experience
I have experience caring for children through helping with younger siblings and family members, where I have developed patience, responsibility, and attentiveness. I am comfortable supervising children, keeping them engaged in activities, and ensuring their safety at all times.
I have helped with tasks such as preparing simple meals, assisting with homework, organising games and activities, and maintaining routines like bedtime. Through this experience, I have learned how to communicate clearly with children, manage different behaviours calmly, and create a positive and supportive environment.
I am confident in my ability to handle responsibility and provide reliable care, and I am always willing to learn and adapt to each family’s specific needs.
My Qualifications
I have completed all of my GCSEs and I am currently studying a Public Services Access to Higher Education course. Through my education, I have developed important skills such as communication, organisation, responsibility, and problem-solving.
I also hold a First Aid qualification, which has given me the knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately in emergency situations and ensure children’s safety at all times.
My Availability
I am available for babysitting on most days of the week, with some set commitments due to college and my part-time job. I attend college on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 2:45pm, and I typically work shifts from 7am to 5pm.
Outside of these times, I am flexible and available for evenings, weekends, and additional hours when needed. I am happy to discuss specific availability and work around a family’s schedule where possible.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
My standard babysitting rate is £13 per hour. I believe this reflects my experience, reliability, and qualifications, including my First Aid training.
I am happy to discuss rates depending on the number of children, hours required, and any additional responsibilities. I aim to provide high-quality, trustworthy care and ensure good value for families.
