About Me
I am Eloise, a 21 year old dental student studying in Leeds. I am a kind, fun, empathetic person, who has been around children of varying ages throughout my life. I’ve grown up in a family oriented household. This helps my understanding of how families operate, and ensures I take an individual approach to each child and consider their needs. I’ve also grown up with many pets, currently we have a dog and three cats. I am often left in charge of running my household, especially when I was younger, with cousins cousins and siblings.
My Experience
I worked in a school over my gap year. Through this experience, I helped with teaching and looking after children aged 4-13. I loved this job so very much and was offered a job when I left! Through this job, I was able to understand how to look after children of varying ages. How to provide support, and when to make on a leadership role in order to fulfil a task. I taught PE lessons alongside other teachers, and helped in maths and science lessons when I was needed. More importantly, I was a friendly face the children could come and chat to.
Through my dental degree, I learn how to provide care to children. This not only is beneficial to their health but also their wellbeing, we learn techniques for helping calm children. We learn how to make the children feel safe and understood. Also through this, I am qualified in level 3 first aid, with the addition of first aid for children.
I also have worked at holiday camps as a teenager, which offers a different experience of how to manage children in a fast paced environment.

School holidays, when I am home from university. Any time during the week or weekends.
