About Me

I am a teaching assistant in reception. I have 7 years experience working with children. I would love to help out a mum/family in caring for their children. I am very reliable, trustworthy and hardworking. I feel very privileged to look after other people’s children and love children of all ages.

My Experience

I hold a full level 3 qualification in childcare. I started off my career as the room leader in the preschool room of an ‘outstanding’ nursery but also have experience in the baby and toddler room as well as leading the after school club. I now work in a primary school as a teaching assistant in reception, having worked in year 1 for a few years. I have experienced working in all of the year groups, ran the afterschool club and still currently run the breakfast club which children from reception to year 6 attend.

My Qualifications

Level 3 in childcare.
Paediatric first aid.
Trauma informed practice.
Over 50 CPD courses relating to autism, safeguarding, difficult behaviours, children’s mental health, learning disabilities etc.

My Availability

I work until 3:00 Monday-Friday. I could work any evening / the odd weekend if needed and days in the school holidays! Depending on where your kids go to school and what time they finish I could hopefully pick them up from school if this is what’s required.
