About Me

I am a caring, patient and reliable individual who takes a hands-on and nurturing approach to working with children. I am highly attentive to children’s needs and always prioritise their safety, wellbeing and development. As a Childhood Health and Wellbeing student, I have a strong understanding of how to support children in a way that is both engaging and developmentally appropriate. I enjoy building positive relationships with children and creating a safe, fun and supportive environment where they feel comfortable and happy.

My Experience

I have experience caring for children through both babysitting and professional placements. I have looked after younger children in a home setting, supporting daily routines, play and overall care. In addition, I have completed placements in both a mainstream playgroup and a special educational needs (SEN) school, where I supported children with a range of needs. These experiences have helped me develop patience, adaptability and the ability to confidently support children of different ages and abilities.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying in my last year studying Childhood Health and Wellbeing at Nottingham Trent University, where I have developed a strong understanding of children’s development and care. I have completed training in areas including learning disabilities, autism, and health and safety. I also have basic first aid knowledge from my involvement with the Red Cross. These qualifications support my ability to provide safe, informed and high-quality care.

My Availability

I am available on evenings and weekends (Saturday), with flexibility depending on your needs. I am reliable and happy to support families with regular or occasional babysitting.
