My Experience

I have worked in childcare for the past 4 years, and I really enjoying working with children. I have worked in 4 nurseries and worked with different ages, such as babies toddlers, preschoolers and occasionally, primary school children, where I did a bit of volunteering. I have worked as a key person in the past, where I supported my key children with their learning and development, and worked alongside with parents to ensure that their children are receiving the best support they can receive.

My Qualifications

Level 2 Early Years Practioner- i started my apprenticeship in may 2022, where I got my first job in a nursery setting. In this nursery, I worked in 2 rooms. The first room I worked in was the preschool room and the second room was the toddler room. I worked at my first nursery for 9 months and then I transferred to another nursery for 7 months, which is where I gained my level 2 qualification. At this nursery I worked with babies, toddlers and preschoolers. My main role was to ensure that I supported all of the children with their individual needs, as well as maintaining their health and wellbeing.
