Part Time Nanny Job In Wellingborough

We are a welcoming family based in Wellingborough, recently blessed with newborn twin girls. This is an exciting but busy time for us, and we are looking for the right person to become a trusted part of our support system.
Jonathan runs his own business and works full-time, while Nikita is currently focused on the babies. We are a close-knit, family-oriented household and value kindness, calmness, and reliability.
We are looking for someone who is confident caring for newborns, ideally with experience of twins or multiple babies, and who can bring a steady, reassuring presence to the home. The role includes a mix of night support and daytime care, so we are particularly keen to find someone who is organised, patient, and comfortable working independently.
My Requirements
We are looking for an experienced nanny, postpartum doula or maternity nurse to support with our newborn twins on a regular weekly schedule.
The role will cover 36 hours a week, with the same shifts each week for consistency. We can offer two options to suite the nanny's availability and lifestyle, both can work for us:
OPTION 1)
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 10:00pm – 8:00am (10 hour night shifts)
Friday: 4:00pm – 10:00pm (6 hours evening support)
Total: 36 hours per week
OPTION 2)
Monday, Thursday: 06:00am - 18:00pm (12 hour day shifts)
Friday: 10:00am - 22:00pm (12 hour day shift)
For us, option 1 is our preference, but both can work for us. A minimum of 12 weeks, with view to discuss extension into a long term role.
During shifts, responsibilities will include feeding, settling, and general care of the twins to allow us to rest.
We have a well-prepared home environment, including a dedicated nursery, changing stations, prep machines, and pre-prepared formula to make the role as smooth as possible. For night shifts, there is a clean single bed available, and you are also welcome to use the living room where the twins’ Moses baskets are set up, along with a television.
We are offering £16–£20 per hour depending on experience, and are keen to find someone reliable, calm, and confident caring for newborns, ideally with twin experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience caring for newborns (twin experience highly desirable)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain)
- Right to work in the UK
- References available from previous childcare roles
- Confident working independently during night shifts
- Reliable, calm, and organised
