My Summary
About Me
Hello, My name is Lydia.
I’m a paediatric nurse with 3 years of experience, currently looking to transition into nannying to spend more one-on-one time supporting children and their families.
Working with children has always been my passion. I’m naturally calm, patient, and nurturing, and I always aim to create a safe, happy environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I’ve been told by both parents and children that I have a very calming presence, which helps children feel at ease quickly. I also have a love for animals of all kinds, no matter how big or small and would be happy to help care for them alongside the children if it is required.
I’m confident caring for children of all ages, from newborns through to teenagers, and I enjoy adapting my approach to suit each child’s personality and needs.
I’m happy to support with:
Planning fun, engaging, and educational activities
Keeping to routines and daily schedules
Encouraging curiosity and learning through play
Or simply being a consistent, calm, and supportive presence
My goal is always to make sure your children feel safe, happy, and genuinely cared for.
I would love to meet your family, and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
