My Summary
About Me
I have a welcoming home environment to nurture your child's development. I provide home based activities along with trips out to local places including parks, Chester Zoo, walks round the woods and trips to museums and local toddler groups. All this provides variety for your child to help a well rounded development.
I have 4 children aged 10, 14, 17 & 21, and have always enjoyed being out and about with them enjoying their learning through fun trips out.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for 30 years in a variety of environments including a nursery, as a nanny and now as a childminder which I have done since my eldest was 1. I have enjoyed looking after many children over the years and getting to work with families to help their child fulfil their potential. We have always enjoyed lots of learning through fun trips out as-well as through the opportunity to play in our home environment.
My Qualifications
I have NVQ 2 & 3 in Childcare and Level 4 in Early Years Practice. Recently I have completed the Level 3 Early Years Special Edicational Needs Coordinator certificate. I also have up to date Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and food hygiene. I attend regular training put on by the Local authority and courses online to keep up to date on changing theories and best practises within childcare.
My Availability
I am available to work Monday to Thursday.
