About Me
I’m a 27-year-old psychology undergraduate who relocated to the UK from Denmark ten years ago. I have nearly 10 years of experience working in childcare as both a nanny and childminder, including supporting neurodivergent children, particularly those with ASD. I have cared for children ranging from 10 months to 12 years old. While my primary experience is with children aged 3–6, I have also cared for younger children and am confident and comfortable supporting toddlers’ needs.
My Experience
These experiences have given me a comprehensive understanding of developmental stages and the importance of adapting support to meet each individual child’s needs. I have built meaningful relationships with children and families through strong communication skills, delivering one-to-one support and planning activities tailored to each child’s abilities. I place particular emphasis on building confidence by focusing on children’s strengths and encouraging independence, as this is key to enabling them to access a wide range of experiences.
