Hi, I’m offering babysitting and childcare services during the daytime, available until around 3:30–3:45pm each day.
I hold an up-to-date DBS check and have a BA in Social Work, with professional training qualifying me to practise as a social worker. While I’m not currently practising (as I plan to pursue postgraduate studies in teaching), I bring strong knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and care.
I have extensive hands-on experience caring for children of different ages, and I’m often the trusted babysitter and pet sitter for families in my community. I’m reliable, patient, and committed to creating a safe and positive environment for children.
I am also in the process of booking a certified first aid course to further enhance my childcare skills.

My Experience
**Experience**
I have previous paid babysitting experience with two families, which I arranged through Childcare.co.uk. I’m currently using a new account as I no longer have access to the email linked to my previous profile.
In addition to this, I have extensive informal experience caring for children of various ages, including babies and young children, for both friends and family. I am often the go-to person for babysitting and pet care, which has helped me build strong, practical skills in keeping children safe, engaged, and well cared for.
My background in Social Work has also provided me with a solid understanding of child development, behaviour, and safeguarding, which I bring into all of my childcare work.
My Qualifications

* 8 GCSEs (A*–C), including core subjects
* Level 3 qualifications in Psychology and Sociology
* BA (Hons) in Social Work
My degree qualifies me to practise as a social worker and has given me strong knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and supporting children’s wellbeing.
I am also planning to begin a PGCE in Primary Education in the future, further developing my skills in working with and supporting children’s learning and development.
My Availability

I am available for daytime childcare each weekday until approximately 3:30–3:45pm.
