About Me
I'm a solicitor turned childminder, inspired by my two-and-a-half-year-old daughter and my passion for supporting children in their early years. Becoming a parent showed me just how important a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment is for young children to grow and thrive.
I am currently training with an agency to become a registered childminder and hold a full DBS check. I bring a strong sense of responsibility, organisation, and attention to detail from my legal career, alongside a caring, patient, and child-led approach.
My aim is to provide a home-from-home setting where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to explore, learn, and develop at their own pace. I follow the EYFS framework, supporting each child’s development through structured learning alongside play-based experiences.
Children in my care will enjoy a balance of indoor and outdoor activities, including sensory play to support creativity, curiosity, and confidence. I also provide nutritious, home-cooked hot meals to ensure children are well cared for throughout the day.
I understand how important trust is when choosing childcare, and I strive to build strong, open relationships with both children and parents.

My Experience
I am a dedicated and attentive mother to a two-and-half-year-old, which has given me hands-on, day-to-day experience in early childhood care and development. Through this, I have developed a strong understanding of routines, emotional needs, and age-appropriate activities that support learning and growth. I am confident in managing feeding schedules, sleep routines, and engaging a young child in safe, stimulating play.
Alongside my parenting experience, I bring a professional background as a former solicitor. This has equipped me with excellent organisational skills, a high level of responsibility, and strong communication abilities. I am calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and structured environment—qualities that are directly transferable to childcare.
I combine practical caregiving experience with professionalism, reliability, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s wellbeing and development.

Currently progressing through the registration process with my agency, including training in safeguarding, child development, and early years practice
Working towards full childminder registration in line with Ofsted requirements
Paediatric First Aid training (in progress)

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
My hourly rate is £6.50, and I am happy to accept funded childcare hours, with flexible arrangements for any additional hours required.
