About Me
Hi, I’m imanah a dedicated and caring childminder with a real passion for working with children.
I’m 19 years old and currently working alongside my mum, who has valuable experience in childcare. Together, we provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment where children can learn, play, and feel at home.
I will be finishing college in September and plan to continue my education at university, where I’ll be studying Law. My studies have helped me develop strong responsibility, organisation, and communication skills, which I bring into my childcare work every day.
I genuinely love working with children and supporting their development through fun, engaging, and educational activities. I aim to create a positive environment where every child feels happy, secure, and encouraged to grow.
My Experience
I have been working alongside my mum as a childminder for the past 2 to 3 years, and it has been a truly rewarding experience for me.
I really enjoy working with my mum, especially because we care for children of different ages, from very young to older children. This allows me to understand and support a wide range of needs and personalities.
Most of the time, we plan and carry out fun and engaging activities with the children, including games, learning activities, and creative play. I actively take part in these activities with my mum, and I enjoy every moment of it. It’s lovely to see how much the children enjoy themselves too.
Spending time with children makes me very happy, and I always aim to create a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment where every child feels comfortable and cared for.
