Part Time Nanny Job in Oxford
About Me
We are a warm, friendly family with a cheerful 2 year old daughter in central North Oxford. We are looking for reliable, kind, and proactive help with nursery pickups, childminding and some light housekeeping (cooking and tidying) during the week, and possibly for a few flexible hours on the weekend. We are two academic parents with busy work lives and travel. Our daughter is in nursery full-time (9am–5pm).
My Requirements
The Role
• Pick-up from nursery (10-minute bike ride from our house), followed by
• Evening care from 5:00–6:30pm two evenings each week and from 5:00–8:00pm two evenings each week by mutual agreement – includes playtime and dinner on early days and bath and bedtime on other days
• Ideally an extra 2-4 hours of housekeeping per week - cooking with ingredients provided, tidying and organising, sorting laundry
• Ideally 2–4 hours one day each weekend, by prior arrangement
• Ideally flexible to stay over roughly one night a month, by prior arrangement, if parents are both travelling
Requirements
• Experience caring for toddlers
• Friendly, dependable, and confident with evening routines
• Ideally a confident cyclist – able or willing to learn use of a trailer – nursery is nearby, but parking is limited
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Excellent references required

Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
