About Me

We are a warm and welcoming family based in Brentford, West London seeking a reliable and proactive Housekeeper/Nanny to support the smooth running of their home and help care for their new baby.

Hours: Monday – Friday, either 7:00am – 10:00am or 8:00am – 11:00am (3 hours per day). Possibility for this to be Monday-Thursday 4 hours per day.

The successful applicant should be highly organised, neat and tidy. Primarily this is a housekeeping role, though elements of support with the new baby would also be useful, as would elements of PA skills. The family also has two dogs, one of whom is very large, so applicants must be comfortable with dogs. Fundamentally they are looking for someone who can look after their household, and sometimes their baby, so they can focus on their property business.

This is a role that could grow as the family does - potentially to a greater part-time or full-time role if the family and the successful hire are a good match. The family are currently looking for an property abroad, likely Mallorca or Marbella, so there might be a future element of travel to the role if that worked for both parties.

Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties:
• Full laundry care (washing, ironing, folding)
• Making beds and maintaining tidy bedrooms
• General cleaning and upkeep of the home
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• Stocking cupboards and managing household supplies

Child & Pet Support:
• Assisting with light support for the new baby / young child
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
• General care and attention for two dogs (one very large) — the candidate must be comfortable with large dogs. Typically, this would not include walking but would include feeding. Walking on occasion would be useful, but it’s a deal breaker.
Cooking:
• Preparing simple, healthy breakfast for the family

What We’re Looking For
• Highly organised, neat and tidy with excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a similar Housekeeper role (ideally with children and/or pets)
• Confident and comfortable around young children and dogs
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Proactive, trustworthy, and discreet
• Comfortable with both housekeeping and light childcare duties
• Driver preferred but not required
• PA Skills a bonus

Additional Information
• Live-out position
• Monday to Friday mornings only. Monday to Thursday could be possible.
