About Me
Hi, I’m a mum to a young son and we’re a calm, caring little family based in the area. I’m very focused on creating a supportive and understanding environment for my child, especially as he is currently being assessed for autism.
He is a sweet, curious boy who enjoys exploring at his own pace. At the moment, he mainly understands Romanian, so we are gradually introducing English in a gentle and pressure-free way.
I’m looking for someone patient, kind, and experienced (or open-minded) when it comes to children who may need a bit of extra support with communication and settling into new environments.
My Requirements
I am looking for a childminder to care for my son for around 4 hours per week initially, with the possibility of increasing hours if he settles well and feels comfortable.
My son is suspected of autism and has a speech delay, so he may need extra patience, understanding, and a calm approach while adjusting. He currently understands Romanian, so clear, gentle communication and consistency are very important.
I would prefer a setting that is not too overwhelming, where he can feel safe and supported while building confidence, social skills, and gradually adapting to English.
If possible, I would love someone who is open to working with his pace and needs, and who can provide updates on how he is doing so we can support him together.
