Mum to a good natured outdoors loving toddler
About Me
Alex and I are both doctors working at Derriford hospital. Our daughter is 16 months old. She goes to nursery on a Wednesday and Thursday, but I would like to find a child minder for her on either Mondays or Tuesdays (preferably Tuesdays!). She is very sweet natured. Her favourite things are to help around the house (fetching, wiping) and chatting on her 'phone' - any remote controller or rectangle shaped object! She is an excelled mum herself to her Baby Annabel who she likes to tuck up and put to sleep. She loves our outdoor adventures in our hiking backpack or adventure pram to Dartmoor and the South Devon Beaches. She is an excellent unfussy eater. Although we breastfeed still once before her night time sleep, she understands 'going to sleep' and goes down to sleep from being awake in her cot. At home she only sleeps once a day for 2 hours. On her nursery days it's often twice a day.
My Requirements
Someone who is thoughtful and kind. Maya has several 'trusted' adults in her friend/family circle but has not been separated from her parents for very long and has found the start of nursery quite bumpy. Someone who is creative with imaginative play as that's Maya's favourite type of play! Someone who is bubbly and outgoing- Maya loves a dance party and singsong. Ideally someone with a garden/access to nice outdoor spaces as Maya is definitely a toddler who thrives on being outside.
I would aim to drop her off at 7:45am and pick her up at 5:45pm on either a Monday/Tuesday. I'm looking for a childminder who also does a regular week outside of term time as I work throughout the year. We can ask Grandparents to visit from London/Bracknell if holidays/bank holidays are upcoming.
