My Experience

I have worked in a nursery setting for 3 years across 4 different branches supporting children aged 6 months to 5 years. I also previously worked as a trainee dental nurse where I regularly worked with children, helping them feel comfortable and reassured during appointments.

Nursery Assistant Duties :
• Supporting children’s early development through play-based learning.
• Observing and tracking developmental milestones.
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
• Assisting with daily routines (feeding, toileting, nap times).
• Encouraging social skills, sharing, and positive behaviour.
• Communicating effectively with children, parents, and staff.
• Promoting creativity through arts, crafts, and interactive activities.
• Understanding safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.

Trainee Dental Nurse Duties:
• Building trust and reassuring anxious children in unfamiliar settings.
• Communicating clearly in a calm, friendly, and age-appropriate way.
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control.
• Developing patience and empathy when supporting nervous patients.
• Following strict safety procedures and attention to detail.
• Working well within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Managing time efficiently and staying organised.
• Supporting health education and encouraging positive habits (e.g. oral hygiene).

My Qualifications

• 12 Hour Level 3 Pediatric First Aid Certificate (Valid for 3 Years from 18 May 2024)

My Availability

• Available to drop off and pick up children from schools within my local area (Woolwich).
• Flexible to provide short-term babysitting (1 – 5 hours) during the day, evenings, and weekends (within the Borough of Greenwich and nearby boroughs e.g. Lewisham / Bexley .

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

• £13 per hour for 1 child.
• £16 per hour for 2 children.
