My Requirements

We are looking for a Nanny (our very own Mary Poppins!) to support us and our 12-year-old son who has Down’s Syndrome, Autism and ADHD
He is extremely sociable, confident and loves been busy and out and about. His current interests are:
• Ten Pin Bowling, Trampoline parks, soft play centres
• Football & Tennis
• Days out to farms, zoo’s, & amusement parks.
• Walking his dog Teddy in the woods.

Must be willing to support him with personal & health care needs whilst supporting him to live an independent life by way of access to the community, social activities and teaching him independence skills whilst having fun whilst ensuring safeguarding.
He is a very chatty young boy and can hold conversation but does occasionally use Makaton and consistently relies on a visual timetable.

The applicant must be committed, reliable & willing to learn or expand existing knowledge of Intellectual and Neurodiverse disabilities, particularly Down’s Syndrome, Autism & ADHD.
Car driver/owner a must.
The post holders offer will be subject to DBS check.
Please note the boxes ticked are extremely flexible and support can be discussed in accordance with interested parties availability.

I haven't ticked any specific requests for support we are more than willing to work with anybody interested to agree the level of support however School Holidays are a Must as well as a couple of evenings per week basing the support from our home.
