About Me
Hi, I'm Mandy, a mum to two beautiful boys who are now both at school. I have over 22 years of childcare experience, including working across three nurseries with children from as young as 6 weeks old through to 6 years, helping run a local Stay & Play group, and working as a nanny.
I am a friendly, confident, punctual, and caring person who understands the importance of creating a fun, stimulating, and safe environment tailored to each child's individual needs and interests. I believe children learn best when they feel happy, secure, and valued.
I know how important it is for children to socialise with others, explore the world around them, and enjoy plenty of outdoor play. I love taking children to Stay & Play groups, story time at the library, local parks, and on outdoor adventures in all weathers. Alongside physical play, I enjoy crafts, messy play, baking, and getting creative with children.
I have a wide range of toys, books, and activities to suit different ages and interests, ensuring there is always something to capture a child's imagination and encourage their development through play.
My aim is to provide a warm, caring environment where children can have fun, build confidence, make friends, and create happy memories while learning and growing.
My Experience
I have over 22 years of childcare experience, working with children from 6 weeks old to 6 years across three nursery settings. I have also worked as a nanny for the past 4 years and helped run a local Stay & Play group, giving me a wide range of experience supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
As a mum to two school-aged boys, I combine professional knowledge with practical parenting experience. I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn through play, build confidence, develop friendships, and thrive as individuals.

My Availability
I currently have limited availability for children aged 0-5 years, 3 days per week from 8:00am to 4:00pm during term time. Please contact me for more information.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Fees are charged for childcare between 8:00am and 4:00pm, term time only. Parents are asked to provide their child's food, drinks, nappies and any other personal items required during the day. I offer a range of activities and outings to support children's learning and development. While most activities are included, a voluntary contribution may occasionally be requested for certain outings or special events.
