My Experience

I have over 30 years of experience working in education, supporting children across primary and secondary levels.

My background includes teaching and supporting English, literacy development, and confidence-building, with a strong focus on helping pupils improve reading, writing and spelling skills.

I have worked with a wide range of learners, including those who need additional support to build confidence, as well as pupils preparing for transition from primary to secondary school.

My experience allows me to quickly identify gaps in understanding and provide structured, targeted support that helps pupils make steady and meaningful progress.

My Qualifications

I hold formal teaching qualifications from university level and have completed the Award in Education and Training.

I have also completed safeguarding and Prevent training, ensuring that I work to appropriate standards when supporting children and young people.

With over 30 years of experience in education, I bring both professional training and extensive practical experience to my tutoring.

My Availability

I offer both online and in-person sessions in Bromley, Beckenham and the surrounding areas.

Sessions are available on weekdays after school hours, with limited daytime availability depending on the day.

I work primarily with pupils on a regular weekly basis, as consistent sessions usually lead to the best progress.

All sessions are booked in advance, and payment is required prior to each session.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £50.00 per hour

Fees vary depending on the level of support required and whether sessions are online or in person.
