We are childminder-led home nursery based in Chingford, offering a warm, nurturing and home-from-home environment for young children.

Our setting is designed for children under 3 years old, with children graduating the term after their 3rd birthday. We provide a calm and engaging space where children feel safe, valued and supported in their early development.

At Korins Tiny Tots, we follow a child-centred, play-based approach to learning, encouraging children to explore their interests and develop at their own pace. Our days are filled with meaningful experiences including outdoor play, sensory activities, creative learning and real-life experiences such as outings and hands-on exploration.

We are fortunate to have a large, secure outdoor space which plays a key role in our daily routine, supporting physical development, curiosity and a love for nature.

Our approach is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring each child’s learning and development is supported through observation, planning and individual care.

We aim to build strong, trusting relationships with both children and families, creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Key Information:

• I use a secure app as the main communication tool for parents. Through this app, parents will receive daily updates, observations and key highlights of their child’s day, as well as access to their child’s learning journey.

• I will hold termly online parent meetings to discuss the curriculum, learning focus and children’s development, ensuring parents are fully involved in their child’s learning.

• I complete the required 2-year progress checks and ongoing observations to support each child’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• I provide healthy, home-cooked meals and snacks, with a carefully planned menu that takes into account all dietary requirements and allergies.

We also celebrate a range of special events and occasions throughout the year to create meaningful and memorable experiences for the children.

Our enrichment programme offers a wide range of engaging and meaningful experiences for children. These include outings to local farms, organised private singing and movement sessions, and fun baking activities.

We also provide opportunities for creative expression through special occasion craft-making, and celebrate important moments with events such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gatherings. To mark a key milestone, we host a memorable graduation party for our 3-year-olds as they prepare for their next stage.
