About Me
Hello, my name is Korin. I am married and a proud mother of three boys aged between 2 and 10. This has given me 10 years of hands-on experience caring for children through the baby, toddler, preschool and school-age stages.
I have completed extensive early-years training and hold certifications in paediatric first aid, safeguarding, food hygiene, safer eating and safer sleeping. I also have knowledge of the EYFS, positive behaviour management, age-appropriate activities and supporting children’s individual routines and development. I hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
I can provide attentive childcare within your family home, including preparing meals and snacks, organising educational and sensory activities, outdoor play, local outings and maintaining your child’s established routine. I understand the importance of communication and will provide regular updates about your child’s day.
I am caring, patient, organised and dependable, and I will treat every child with the same care, attention and respect that I give my own children.
My Experience
My experience comes primarily from raising my three boys, who are aged between 2 and 10. This has given me extensive hands-on experience caring for children through the baby, toddler, preschool and school-age stages.
I am confident with feeding, weaning, nappy changing, toilet training, safer sleeping, establishing routines, preparing nutritious meals and managing different ages and needs. I also have experience planning educational, creative and sensory activities, supporting early learning and development, encouraging positive behaviour and taking children on age-appropriate outings.
While preparing to become a registered childminder, I completed extensive early-years training and developed a strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, child development, risk assessment and creating a safe, inclusive environment.
My previous management career has also made me highly organised, responsible, dependable and confident when communicating with families. I am now looking to bring my parenting experience, training and transferable skills into a professional nanny position.

I recently went to view Korin’s Tiny Tots for my son and honestly came away feeling really good about it. The setting feels so warm and homely, which is exactly what I was hoping for—it just makes you feel like your child would settle in really easily.
Korin was lovely and took the time to explain everything, which made the whole viewing and joining process feel really relaxed and straightforward. I didn’t feel rushed at all and could tell she genuinely cares about the children and the environment she’s created.
The garden space is great—really safe and toddler-friendly—and inside there’s a nice mix of toys and learning activities, but still with that cosy home feel.
Overall, such a positive experience so far and I’m really happy with my choice. Looking forward to my son starting here.

Thank you so much for your kind words, it was a pleasure having you and your lovely family visit. Looking forward to being an important part of your son’s early learning.
We have been to view Korin’s Tiny Tots and were blown away with the set up and the enrichment opportunities available for my children. From Montessori learning, quiet safe spaces, inclusivity and inviting opportunities to learn through play both inside and outdoors this setting has covered it all. My children did not want to leave. Korin was so welcoming and friendly and my children felt immediately at ease and ready to explore.

Thank you so much for your kind words Rachel :)
My 20 month older daughter absolutely flourishes during her stay at Korins Tiny Tots. I love the home environment, it made settling her in that bit smoother. She loves the outdoor garden space available, with soft artificial grass, this is super toddler friendly and makes play that bit cleaner. Korin has such a variety of educational toys, blended with home comforts. It makes for such a great learning environment and feels like home. Thank you for all you do Korin!

Thank you so much for your kind words 😊 It was lovely meeting you during the viewing, and I’m so pleased to hear that the home environment helped make the settling process feel that little bit easier for your daughter.
I always aim to create a calm, welcoming space where children can feel comfortable from the very beginning, so it’s really nice to know that came across. I’m glad you liked the garden area as well—it’s something I’ve put a lot of thought into to make it safe, practical, and enjoyable during those early settling-in days.
It was a pleasure showing you around and getting to know you both, and I look forward to starting your daughter’s learning journey and providing care for her when I am officially open.
Thank you again for your lovely feedback
