My Experience

25 years as a social worker and youth worker with children and young people, including children with additional needs.

Experience as a parent of two children ( now adults).

I worked as a nanny when a lot younger and enjoyed this type of role.

I qualified as a swimming teacher in 2019 and have supported young children with swimming and developing water confidence.

My Qualifications

Qualified social worker, qualified in 1989, registered to 2024. Qualification and ongoing professional registration required excellent knowledge of child development, child care and safeguarding.

Qualified swimming teacher and Lifeguard 2019, requiring child development and First Aid training.

My Availability

I can be available on a flexible basis for up to three full days a week at any time. It would need to work around my current job where I work two to three days a weeks on a shift basis. I know my shifts two months in advance and so would need to work around that.

My current role is just until November so there is scope to offer more flexibility after that.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

£15 per hour
