About Me

My name is Nicole. I am a qualified Child Development Officer with 8.5 years of experience and am currently working part time in a nursery. I have listed my availability below however please feel free to contact me as I am flexible and may be able to adapt my availability. I am a caring, nurturing and outgoing person who is looking to provide quality babysitting services for others. I have a passion for working with children and have done since 2018. I am registered with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and also have had the correct PVG checks done.

My Experience

I have worked in a nursery for 8.5 years. I have experience working professionally with children from babies aged up to 6 years. Despite only working with 0-6 year olds, I have great knowledge in the development of children up to age 17 as part of my qualification is to know about children development all the way up. I also have great experience and a vast knowledge of working with children who have additional support needs. I am confident in implementing or using provided strategies to support children’s learning, development, emotional regulation and behaviour. I love engaging with children using messy play and games and love to make learning fun. I can also help with homework for school aged children as I have experience of the curriculum.

My Qualifications

-SCQF LEVEL 7/ SVQ LEVEL 3 in Social Services Children and Young People.
- Currently in year 3 of achieving my BA Childhood Practice
