About Me
We’re a warm, close family… me, my husband, our soon to be one year old daughter, and our two very loved dogs who are part of everything. We’re based in Belgravia until August, before moving back to our country home in Marlow.
We love a home that feels calm and happy but we also really embrace life such as travel, new experiences, and making moments feel special. Our daughter is already showing herself to be a very kind, thoughtful little girl, and it’s very important to us that she’s nurtured in the right way so she can truly flourish.
We see our nanny as part of our world and our team. We’re fair, respectful and like things to run well, but equally we want someone who genuinely enjoys being with us, feels valued, and takes pride in being part of a happy, well run family life. We’re fortunate to be very hands on day to day and truly value that time together.
As much as we love the calm of Marlow, we also love being in the mountains in Megève skiing, hiking, exploring and making the most of life and creating special memories along the way.
My Requirements
We’re looking for an experienced nanny with a strong understanding of toddler development, ideally with a Montessori or child-led approach. A solid background caring for children from age one through to preschool is key, along with a calm, confident and proactive nature. Just as important is mindset , we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of a team and grow with us long term, not someone who hops between roles, but someone who takes pride in consistency, care and being part of a well run, happy family life.
The role is 45 hours per week with two days off, and an aim to offer 1–2 weekends off per month. Hours vary between approximately 7:30am and up to 10:30pm depending on the day, with one sleepover per week (our daughter sleeps well). We are very fair and balanced with hours, ensuring time off is managed thoughtfully and respectfully.
We love travel so would love our nanny to be part of our summer or ski holidays. All in all it’s a great job for the right person.
