My Summary

My Experience

My experience has grown across social care, childcare and therapeutic support, and each part of that journey has shaped how I now show up for children and families. I have worked closely with babies and young children in early years settings, as well as in leadership roles within social care, where I developed a strong understanding of supporting people through a range of needs and experiences.

Alongside this, my counselling training and clinical placement has deepened my awareness of emotional wellbeing, attachment and behaviour, which naturally supports my trauma informed approach.

I tend to look beyond behaviour and think about what a child might be feeling or needing underneath, responding in a way that feels calm and respectful.

My Qualifications

I hold a SVQ 4 (level 9) in Social Services Children and Young People and an SVQ 4 (level 9) in social care, leadership and management. Alongside this, I have a level 5 diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling and theory.

My counselling training has also become a really important part of how I work, strengthening my trauma informed practice and supporting me to better understand children’s emotions and experiences.

I continue to build on my knowledge through ongoing learning and reflection, guided by frameworks such as Building the Ambition, Pre Birth to Three, Curriculum for Excellence and the Health and Social Care Standards.

For me, it is important that my practice continues to grow in a way that stays thoughtful, responsive and centred around each child.

My Availability

I will offer care Monday to Thursday, with availability before school, throughout the day and after school, from 8:00am to 5:30pm. I try to create a steady and predictable rhythm to the day, while still allowing space for flexibility where families need it.

During school holidays, I also offer a holiday club with a more relaxed, play based feel, including outings and experiences that the children can enjoy together.

My Fees

• Childminding from £6.80 per hour

My fees are set at £65 per full day. This includes all meals, snacks and drinks, as well as outings and activities.

Before school care is charged at £14 per session.

After school care is charged at £21 per session.

During school holidays, full day care is charged at £65 per day, with meals and outings included.

A holding fee of 25% of the weekly fee is required to secure your child’s place. Late collections are charged at £10 per 15 minutes after the agreed collection time.
