Based in SE14, New Cross, Bright Beginnings offers a warm, welcoming, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy, and confident to learn through play.
My dedicated, self-contained setting has been designed exclusively for childminding, providing a safe, stimulating space where children can explore, develop, and thrive.
As a registered childminder and mum of three, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. I build strong relationships with both children and parents, ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to develop at their own pace.
Each day includes a balance of free play, creative activities, outdoor adventures, stories, music, and baking, helping children build confidence, independence, and essential early skills while having fun.
My aim is for every child to enjoy their time at Bright Beginnings, while giving parents complete confidence that their child is happy, safe, and receiving the very best care.
My Experience
While studying for my first-class Psychology degree, I worked as a babysitter, where I discovered my passion for caring for children. After graduating, I worked in the Civil Service, developing strong organisational and communication skills before following my passion and becoming an Ofsted-registered childminder. My degree focused on child development, giving me valuable knowledge to support children’s learning and wellbeing. I regularly complete training to keep my skills up to date. As a mum of three children, I have hands-on experience of different stages of development and supporting children with SEND, helping me provide inclusive, nurturing care where every child can thrive.
My Qualifications
I am a caring, reliable, and responsible childminder with a first-class degree in Psychology, giving me a strong understanding of child development and behaviour. I am paediatric first aid trained, a Designated Safeguarding Lead, and regularly complete professional development to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. My qualifications and experience enable me to provide safe, high-quality childcare in a nurturing environment where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to learn through play. I am committed to promoting every child’s wellbeing, confidence, and development through positive relationships, engaging activities, and consistent routines.
My Availability
I am flexible with my working hours
Mon- Fri 8am-6pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £9.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.50 per hour
I charge £9.50 per hour per child, which includes, nappies, wipes, barrier cream, sun cream and a range of fun and educational activities in a safe, caring environment. Home-cooked meals and snacks are available at £5 per day. I also take children on local outings where possible, with any additional costs discussed beforehand. My aim is to provide reliable, flexible childcare where children feel happy, supported, and secure.

Kaelee has looked after my one-year-old as a babysitter, and from the very beginning she made both of us feel completely at ease.
She has been an incredible help to me, especially when I’ve needed childcare at very short notice because of work commitments. Knowing I could call her and trust that my little one would be cared for with kindness, patience, and genuine affection has been such a relief.
If I had to describe her in one word, it would be reliable. She has never let me down and has always been there when I’ve needed her most. As a parent, that kind of dependability is priceless. I always knew my child was safe, happy, and genuinely cared for, which gave me complete peace of mind.
Kaelee is warm, caring, patient, and professional and definitely a ‘people’s person’. She keeps children engaged in age-appropriate activities, communicates well with parents, and it’s clear that caring for children is much more than just a job to her it’s something she truly loves.
The only reason I’ve given four stars instead of five for the setting is because, at the time my child was cared for, it was based in Kaelee’s home and the space was a little on the smaller side. However, it was always clean, safe, welcoming, and well organised, and my child was happy and comfortable there.
I understand that Kaelee has now moved into a new setting, which I’m sure will only enhance the wonderful service she already provides. Knowing the level of care, dedication, and professionalism she brings, I have no doubt that her new setting will be even better, and I’m confident it deserves nothing less than a five-star rating.
Overall, I honestly can’t fault Kaelee. She has been an amazing support to me and my family, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any parent looking for someone trustworthy, nurturing, professional, and dependable to care for their little ones.

We can’t recommend Kaelee highly enough. She has looked after all three of our children (our youngest is 2) with such care, patience, and professionalism, and we’ve always felt they were in safe, capable hands.
She is thorough, reliable, and always willing to offer help and advice. She has been incredibly flexible, doing her best to accommodate last-minute changes whenever possible, and her communication has always been excellent, keeping us updated about our children.
She handled every situation calmly and confidently, always putting our children’s wellbeing first. The only reason we’ve given 4 rather than 5 stars is that, on a couple of occasions, she wasn’t available due to existing commitments, which is completely understandable for someone with a busy babysitting schedule. It never took away from the excellent care she provided.
We’re so grateful for everything she has done for our family and wish her every success with her childminding business. Any family would be lucky to have her care for their children.

I cannot recommend Bright Beginnings Childminding highly enough. I’ve used Kaelee’s services on many occasions, and every single experience has been exceptional.
She is warm, caring, reliable, and incredibly professional. The children are always happy, safe, and engaged in fun, educational activities, and it’s obvious how much love and dedication she puts into what she does. She takes the time to understand each child’s individual needs, making every child feel valued and included.
Communication is excellent, she’s organised and dependable, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Knowing my children are in such capable hands gives me complete peace of mind.
If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping children grow, learn, and thrive, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bright Beginnings Childminding. Your little ones couldn’t be in better hands.
