Hello! My name is Lesley, and I’m excited to be starting my journey as a childminder.
I am passionate about providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence. As a new childminder, I am committed to building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families. I aim to provide a home-from-home setting where children feel valued, secure, and loved.
I am dedicated to continuing my professional development and keeping my knowledge and skills up to date so I can provide the best possible care. I look forward to welcoming families into my setting and becoming a trusted part of your child’s early years journey.
My Experience
Although I’m new to childminding, I bring many years of experience caring for children and supporting families. I have raised my own children, am a proud grandparent, have worked in a nursery, and have spent the last 14 years working as a midwife. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of children’s development, the importance of providing safe and nurturing care, and how to support families with compassion and confidence.
My aim is to create a warm, welcoming, home-from-home environment where every child feels safe, valued, and encouraged to learn through play. I believe that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to grow, explore, and develop at their own pace in a caring and supportive setting.
I look forward to building positive relationships with families and providing a happy, stimulating environment where children can thrive.

BSc (hons) Midwifery

My Availability
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7.30 to 5.30pm

- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
