About Me
Hi, my name is Jean a Ofsted Registered Childminder I run Beyond Childcare, based in Walthamstow (E17).
I offer flexible, home-based childcare designed to support families with a variety of needs, including regular care, short-term arrangements, and emergency or last-minute childcare.
I understand that not every family works to a fixed schedule, which is why I provide a flexible service that can adapt where possible to support working parents, shift patterns, and unexpected situations.
I provide a warm, safe, and nurturing home-from-home environment where children can feel comfortable, settled, and supported. Activities are planned around children’s interests and development, alongside opportunities for play, routine, and social interaction.
I also offer school drop-offs and collections for Winns Primary School and Greenleaf Primary School.
In addition to daytime childcare, I can offer:
Emergency or same-day childcare (subject to availability)
Evening and extended evening care
Short-term or ad hoc bookings
School holiday care
I aim to work closely with parents to ensure continuity of care, particularly for children attending on a flexible or short-notice basis.

My Experience
I am a dedicated and caring childminder providing homebase childcare in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. I have experience caring for children of different ages, supporting their individual needs and helping them to develop socially, emotionally, and physically.
I follow the early years foundation stage (EYFS) Framework, planning activities that support children's learning through play, exploration and creativity.
My Qualifications
I am a Ofsted registered childminder committed to providing high-quality childcare in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
I hold the following qualifications and training:
*Paediatric First aid certificate
*Safeguarding children training
* NVQ Level 3 - Children's Care, Learning and Development,
*Food Hygiene Certificate
* Enhanced DBS ( Disclosure and Barring Service)
* Public liability insurance
My Availability
I also offer school drop-offs- and collections for winns Primary School and Greenleaf Primary School.

My Fees
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
Fees will be discussed with parents/ guardian/ carers during the initial meeting to ensure that childcare arrangements meet individual needs.
