About Me
Beyond Childcare – About My Setting
Welcome to Beyond Childcare, a home-based childminding setting in Walthamstow, London, where children are welcomed into a calm, cosy and caring home-from-home environment. My aim is to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating space where every child feels valued, develops confidence and learns through play, exploration and everyday experiences.
My service is ideal for families who need:

I provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere where children can feel comfortable, secure and settled. I understand that every child is unique, and I aim to create a setting where children feel listened to, respected and supported as they grow and develop.
Learning Space
My learning space encourages children to develop independence, curiosity, communication and confidence. Through age-appropriate activities and everyday experiences, children have opportunities to explore their interests, discover new things and develop skills at their own pace.
Outdoor Play
Outdoor play is an important part of children's learning and well-being. Where available and weather permitting, children are encouraged to enjoy fresh air, physical movement, nature exploration and outdoor activities that support their coordination, confidence and imagination.
Resources and Play Opportunities
I provide a variety of age-appropriate toys, books, creative materials, puzzles, construction resources, role-play opportunities and activities to support children's learning and development. Children are encouraged to explore, imagine, create, communicate and learn through play in an engaging and supportive environment.
At Beyond Childcare, my priority is to work in partnership with parents and carers to provide consistent, caring and dependable childcare. I want every child to feel happy, safe and included, with opportunities to learn, play and thrive.

My Experience
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with over 10 years of childcare experience, including the experience I have gained from raising my own three children, first-hand experience of understanding children's individual needs, supporting their development and creating a loving, safe and nurturing environment where they can grow and thrive.
Through my personal experience and passion working with children, I understand the importance of patience, kindness, consistency and positive encouragement. I recognise that every child is unique and develops at their own pace, with their own personality, interests and abilities.
I enjoy supporting children as they explore the world around them, develop their confidence, learn new skills and become more independent. I believe that play is an essential part of children's learning and development, helping them build communication skills, creativity, social relationships and problem-solving abilities.
I understand the importance of establishing positive relationships with children and their families, ensuring children feel comfortable, valued, respected and included. I aim to create a warm, welcoming and stimulating home-from-home environment where children feel secure enough to express themselves, ask questions and develop a love of learning.
My experience as a parent, combined with my commitment to childcare, has strengthened my understanding of the importance of safeguarding, children's well-being, emotional support and working in partnership with parents and carers. I am passionate about helping every child reach their potential and ensuring they feel happy, confident and cared for while in my setting.
As an Ofsted registered childminder, I am committed to continuing to develop my knowledge and skills to provide quality care that supports children's individual needs, learning and overall development.

My Availability
At Beyond Childcare, I offer flexible childcare arrangements to meet the varying needs of families. I understand that every family has different schedules, so I am happy to discuss individual childcare requirements and explore suitable arrangements where possible.
I welcome enquiries for full-day care, occasional and ad hoc childcare, school drop-offs and collections, after-school care, weekend daytime care, extended evening care and school holiday childcare.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
Fees will be discussed with parents/ guardian/ carers during the initial meeting to ensure that childcare arrangements meet individual needs.
