Babysitter in London
My Summary
About Me
Hi! I’m a Chemistry student from South Korea currently in London for my gap year. I’m here on a legal working visa valid until February 2028, so I am looking for a long-term and also short-term opportunity to support a lovely family.
I genuinely love being around children and have plenty of experience engaging with them. I am a non-smoker and a very active person. I love swimming, skiing, and travelling, so I’m happy to keep up with energetic kids! I am also a huge animal lover, so I’m more than happy to work in a pet-friendly household.
While I don't have them yet, I am fully willing to obtain a DBS check and First Aid training. I’m looking forward to bringing my positive energy to your home!
My Experience
• Current Au Pair (London): For the past 3 months, I have been working as an au pair for two girls (aged 8 and 11). My responsibilities include school pick-ups, preparing nutritious dinners, and managing their evening routines. I am very confident in my cooking skills and take pride in being organized and tidy.
• Math Tutor (South Korea): I spent one year teaching mathematics to primary and secondary school students at an academy. This experience helped me develop great patience and the ability to support children with their studies and homework.
• Hospitality Experience: I have also worked in restaurants, which taught me how to work efficiently in fast-paced environments and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
My Qualifications
• Experienced Childcare Provider: I am currently working as an au pair in London, caring for two girls aged 8 and 11. This role involves managing school runs, and evening routines, giving me direct, hands-on experience with British childcare standards.
• Educational Background: I have a strong academic background, having studied Chemistry at university. I also have one year of experience as a Math Tutor in South Korea, where I taught primary and secondary school students. I am more than happy to help children with their homework and studies.
• Responsible & Active: I am a non-smoker and lead a very healthy, active lifestyle. I enjoy swimming, skiing, and cycling, and I love bringing that positive energy into my work with children.
• Pet-Friendly: I am a huge animal lover and very comfortable looking after pets alongside children.
• Commitment to Safety: Although I do not currently hold a DBS check or First Aid certificate, I am fully willing to obtain both immediately to provide peace of mind and ensure the highest safety for your family.
• Reliability: I hold a legal working visa valid until February 2028, ensuring I can provide stable and consistent care for your family.
My Availability
• Weekdays (Mon-Fri): I can work from early morning until 3:00 PM. Since I start my au pair duties at 3:30 PM, I am available for any morning or early afternoon shifts if the location is nearby. I am also available for evening and overnight care on weekdays after I finish my current duties.
• Weekends (Sat-Sun): I am fully flexible and available at any time, all day long.
I am happy to discuss specific timings to see how I can best fit your family's needs. If you are looking for someone reliable for morning school runs, daytime care, or weekend help, please feel free to get in touch!
