My Experience

I have gained valuable experience working with children of different ages and needs in both educational and home settings. As a 1-to-1 SEN Teaching Assistant, I supported children with additional needs by adapting activities to suit their individual abilities and helping them stay engaged in learning. This role helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively in a variety of situations.

Alongside this, I have worked as a private babysitter for children aged between 2 and 15 years old. In this role, I was responsible for creating a safe and positive environment, planning age-appropriate activities, helping with routines such as meals and bedtime, and building trusting relationships with both children and parents.

These experiences have given me a strong understanding of child development and the importance of providing consistent, nurturing care. I am confident in supporting children’s emotional well-being, encouraging positive behaviour, and adapting to each child’s unique personality and needs.

My Qualifications

While I do not currently hold formal childcare qualifications, I bring strong hands-on experience and a genuine passion for working with children. My background as a 1-to-1 SEN Teaching Assistant and private babysitter has given me practical skills in supporting children of different ages and abilities, managing routines, and creating a safe, nurturing environment.

I am committed to providing high-quality care and understand the importance of trust and reassurance for families. I am more than happy to obtain a DBS check and meet any additional requirements parents may have to ensure peace of mind. I am also open to further training and development to continue improving my skills and knowledge in childcare.

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour

My fees are flexible and designed to suit the individual needs of each family. Rates may vary depending on factors such as the number of children, their ages, the hours required, and any additional responsibilities.
