My Experience

I am an experienced childcare professional with 10 years of hands-on experience supporting children and families in both long-term and temporary roles. My background includes a successful nanny share caring for four girls aged 6 to 11, agency placements with children across a wide age range, and part live-in roles. I have also accompanied families on holiday, adapting seamlessly to different routines and environments.

My experience covers all aspects of childcare and household support, including school drop-offs and pickups, cooking, feeding, changing nappies, laundry, cleaning, homework support, and planning engaging activities. I am particularly confident working with children aged 2 to 10, though I have also taught art and programming workshops for young people aged 5 to 16. Alongside childcare, I can also assist with pet care, including looking after cats and dogs and walking dogs as needed.

What sets me apart is my creativity, adaptability, and ability to connect with children in meaningful ways. As an artist, I naturally bring imagination and energy into my work, creating fun and enriching experiences through make-believe, creative projects, and music. I also offer piano tutoring and am especially skilled at preparing meals for picky eaters while encouraging healthy habits.

Throughout my agency work, I consistently received excellent feedback and secured every role I interviewed for, with families often expressing their appreciation in memorable ways. I am reliable, warm, and proactive, and I take pride in creating a positive, supportive environment where children can thrive.

My Qualifications

I do not currently hold active formal childcare qualifications, but I bring 10 years of extensive, hands-on professional experience working as a childcare provider in a variety of settings, including long-term nanny roles, nanny shares, live-in positions, agency placements, and holiday support.

I have previously held both a DBS check and Paediatric First Aid certification, which I am currently in the process of renewing. While I do not hold a formal Level 2 or Level 3 childcare diploma, my experience spans caring for children aged 2 to 10, including school-age children and early years, and covers a broad range of responsibilities such as safeguarding routines, educational support, meal preparation, and developmental play.

In addition, I bring specialist experience in creative education, having delivered workshops in art and programming for children and young people aged 5 to 16, as well as informal piano tutoring and structured learning support in home settings.

My Availability

I am currently travelling frequently until mid-July and am seeking urgent, short-term childcare roles to fill the gaps between commitments. During this period, I am best suited to emergency cover, temporary placements, holiday support, and flexible short-notice roles.

My confirmed availability is:
29th April to 5th May
13th May to 26th May
5th June to 8th June
16th June to 20th June

From 16th July onwards, I will have full availability and am open to longer-term opportunities with families seeking reliable and consistent childcare support.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour

My fees are flexible depending on the type of role, hours required, and level of responsibility involved. For emergency, short-notice, and temporary childcare roles, my rate reflects the immediacy and flexibility of availability required, as well as my 10 years of professional experience across a wide range of childcare settings, including nanny shares, live-in support, agency placements, and holiday care. For longer-term or ongoing arrangements (available from mid-July onwards), I offer a more consistent rate structure tailored to the family’s needs, with the option to agree either hourly or weekly arrangements depending on the role. I am happy to discuss individual requirements and agree a fair rate based on the specific expectations of each position.
