My Requirements

We are a busy friendly family based just outside Woodbridge looking for a nanny / housekeeper to join us initially up until Sept.

We have three children – a 5-year-old at school, a 3-year-old girl in nursery, and a 4-month-old baby – so we are looking for someone experienced, capable, and very comfortable managing multiple children. The role is shared care, as we are often around, so it’s important that the person is happy to follow our lead with the children when we are around, while being confident working independently at other times.

Alongside childcare, a key part of the role is keeping the household running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who takes real pride in maintaining a tidy, organised, and well-run home – keeping on top of laundry, and ensuring everything is in the right place.

The right person would also:
• Have a flexible approach to hours, including the ability to bank hours and scale up during school holidays and occasional weekends
• Be a safe and confident driver
• Enjoy cooking and preparing fresh, healthy meals
• Be happy to muck in across all aspects of family life (e.g. dog walking, light gardening, general household help)
• Be happy with a mix of childcare and housekeeping depending on the week
• Have a fun, positive energy and genuinely enjoy spending time with children
• Be open overnight stays so that we can maybe get away as a couple and travel with the family
• Be comfortable around dogs
