About Me
We are a friendly, busy family based in South West London looking for a warm, reliable and proactive part-time nanny to support with after-school care for my two children.
About the children
* A curious, bright and energetic 9-year-old boy who enjoys conversation, structure, and winding down after a busy school day
* A creative, affectionate 7-year-old girl who loves imaginative play, chats, and a calm, nurturing environment
Both children are well-mannered, independent for their age, and thrive with someone who is kind, consistent, and gently firm when needed.
My Requirements
Part-Time Afternoon School Nanny (Tue/Wed/Fri | 4:30–7:30pm)
Key responsibilities
* School pick-up and safe journey home
* Preparing simple, healthy dinners for the children
* Supporting with homework and reading where needed
* Creating a calm, structured early evening routine
* Light child-related household tasks (tidying up after meals, organising school bags, etc.)
* Encouraging good manners, independence and respectful behaviour
Additional babysitting
Once a good relationship has been built with the children, we would love to offer additional, ad hoc evening babysitting.
Who we’re looking for
* Warm, engaging and genuinely enjoys spending time with children
* Calm and confident, able to manage the after-school transition smoothly with help homework and guidance with play time
* Reliable and organised
* Someone who can strike the right balance between fun and structure
